A 52-year-old British tourist tragically passed away shortly after checking into a hotel on Caye Caulker island in Belize. His neighbors reported hearing a loud noise within 24 hours of his arrival at the Casa Vista Hotel.
Upon investigating the disturbance, the neighbors discovered the man unconscious on the ground. He was promptly taken to the Caye Caulker Health Center, where despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries later that day. Authorities have initiated an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding his death.
Officer Stacy Smith from the Caye Caulker formation confirmed that police responded to a report of an unconscious male at the health clinic on Tuesday. The man was found with visible injuries and was rushed for treatment, but unfortunately, he could not be saved.
