“Canadian Siblings Jack and Lilly Sullivan Still Missing”

Date:

It has been half a year since siblings Jack, aged 4, and Lilly Sullivan, aged 6, mysteriously disappeared from their bedroom and remain missing till date.

On May 2, 2025, Jack and Lilly went missing from their countryside residence in Lansdowne Station, Pictou County, Nova Scotia. Their mother, Malehya Brooks-Murray, reported their disappearance after she suspected they had wandered away from their home where they resided with their mother, stepfather, Daniel Martell, and younger sister Meadow.

According to reports, the mother heard the children playing in an adjacent room around 10 am, but upon checking later, they were nowhere to be found, presumably exiting through the patio door.

A thorough search was initiated for the missing Canadian siblings, accompanied by interviews conducted. A local resident, Brad Wong, mentioned hearing a “loud vehicle” near the residence in the early hours of May 2.

In legal documents, RCMP Corporal Charlene Curl documented Wong’s observation that “his residence overlooks Daniel’s [Martell] residence, and he noticed vehicle lights above the tree canopy.”

Furthermore, it was reported that “the vehicle departed three or four times after midnight and into the early morning hours. It would drive off into the distance, stop, return, and remain audible throughout,” as per The Sun.

Another neighbor, Justin Smith, informed authorities of a vehicle maneuvering near the family’s residence close to the railroad tracks at approximately 1:30 am. The constable stated, “[Smith] later conversed with Brad Wong, who relayed that Daniel’s vehicle came and went five or six times that night. Wong confirmed that the car Smith heard belonged to Daniel.”

Daniel informed the police that he retired early to bed and only woke up the following morning. He asserted that no one left the house, and there were no visitors on that particular day.

On the other hand, the children’s mother, Malehya, disclosed to investigators that her partner claimed to have stayed up for cleaning purposes but could not specify what was cleaned, as it was not evident when she awoke.

Despite exhaustive efforts, the two youngsters are still unaccounted for.

Six months after their disappearance, Malehya penned a poignant message on Facebook, expressing her profound love for her missing children Lilly and Jack.

She wrote, “As a mother, my love for Lilly and Jack surpasses all else, and the ache of not being able to embrace them is unbearable. My yearning for their return is beyond words, with not a moment passing without thoughts of my children.”

While various speculations circulate regarding their disappearance, the prevailing belief is that they wandered off from home together. Sergeant Rob McCamon
