A new image has emerged showing debris scattered outside a residence following a car crash that resulted in two individuals sustaining serious injuries. Local residents in the vicinity described the aftermath as chaotic when a vehicle collided with a home in Peterborough on Sunday evening.
The incident involved a blue Ford Mondeo crashing into the front of the house after striking parked cars on the street. A woman in her 70s, who was inside the residence at the time, and the male driver in his 40s were promptly taken to the hospital for treatment of their severe injuries.
Eyewitnesses, such as Greg Hilliam, recounted the emergency services’ swift response to the scene, noting the unexpected nature of the event. Another neighbor who chose to remain anonymous revealed that the commotion woke up their family, with the car penetrating the house’s hedge. They praised a fellow neighbor for their quick actions in assisting during the aftermath.
Multiple residents recalled hearing sirens as emergency services arrived, expressing concern for the well-being of those involved in the crash. The unsettling scene left one neighbor feeling scared upon returning home and witnessing the aftermath.
