“Carol Vorderman Slams Reform Candidate as ‘Disgusting Abuser'”

Date:

Carol Vorderman strongly criticized a Reform by-election candidate for sending a disturbing sexual message, using a harsh three-word response. The candidate, Robert Kenyon, who is vying to become the next MP for Makerfield, supported derogatory comments about the TV personality and made other disparaging remarks towards women. In retaliation, Carol labeled Nigel Farage’s candidate as a “disgusting online abuser.”

According to the campaign group HopeNotHate, Kenyon had two accounts on a social media platform, with one account deleted and the other suspended. Reform has defended Kenyon, describing him as a plumber without much refinement but who could potentially be an effective MP.

Carol expressed her strong disapproval of Kenyon, stating that he exhibited misogynistic behavior and engaging in abusive online conduct. She highlighted instances where Kenyon made inappropriate remarks about female rugby players and was blocked by a sports platform for his behavior.

Referring to the investigation by HopeNotHate, a Reform UK spokesperson voiced their support for Kenyon, emphasizing his candidacy as a promising choice for Makerfield despite his past comments. In response to this, Carol criticized Reform’s stance, implying their disregard for misogynistic behavior.

Labour Party representatives condemned Kenyon’s online comments, labeling them as offensive and inappropriate for someone aspiring to represent Makerfield. The ongoing campaigning in Makerfield saw Andy Burnham launching his by-election campaign, promising a change from the current political landscape.

Amid speculation about leadership challenges within the Labour Party, there were discussions about potential shifts in leadership roles based on the outcomes of the upcoming contest. Mr. Burnham and his allies hinted at the need for change within the party, with Mr. Streeting openly discussing plans to challenge the party leadership.

Mr. Burnham emphasized the necessity for Labour to evolve and improve, presenting himself as a candidate for change within the party. He outlined a vision for a more radical approach while upholding the party’s existing manifesto.
