Shocking video footage has surfaced, capturing the moment when a young child was forcibly taken from her mother’s grasp inside a supermarket. The CCTV recordings show a one-year-old girl being seized by a purported homeless individual, as per reports.
This distressing incident occurred at a retail store in Italy, where the man swiftly snatched the child upon entering through the automatic doors, as reported by The Sun.
The footage depicts a tense struggle between the mother and the man as he tries to separate the girl from her. The family was apparently exiting the store when the alarming attempted abduction unfolded.
In the video, the daughter can be seen caught between her mother and the stranger, with her father abandoning the shopping cart to intervene. Security personnel and onlookers are shown in the clip trying to restrain the Romanian man.
Law enforcement was summoned to the scene and successfully rescued the child before apprehending the man. The toddler was promptly taken to the hospital for medical evaluation, revealing a fractured femur sustained during the incident.
