“Child Social Media Star Shot by Police in Argentina”

A 12-year-old boy, known for his social media posts featuring guns and motorcycles, was reportedly shot and killed by police in Argentina. The incident occurred during a police pursuit in Tres de Febrero on January 20.

Law enforcement officers attempted to identify the individuals in a hatchback when the suspects realized they were being followed. A chase ensued, during which the suspects fired at the police, prompting a return of fire from the officers.

After a few blocks, two armed adults abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. Inside the car, authorities discovered the deceased body of the 12-year-old boy, identified as Uriel Alejandro Giménez, along with spent shell casings.

Medical personnel confirmed that the boy had succumbed to gunshot wounds, including one to the chest. The tragic incident occurred in the early hours of January 20 in Tres de Febrero, on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The case has been labeled as “homicide aggravated by the use of a firearm,” with one police officer facing formal charges. Efforts are ongoing to locate the individuals who escaped following the shooting.

Uriel, also known as Chispita, frequently shared photos on social media featuring motorcycles and firearms. He had a previous record, having been detained at a local police station in October 2025 for involvement in concealing a crime. Uriel was laid to rest in Tres de Febrero on January 21.

His sister, Kiara, paid tribute online, expressing her deep sorrow and love for her brother. She mourned his loss and wished for his peace in the afterlife.
