Chris Eubank Jr is celebrating the birth of his twin boys, considering it the pinnacle of his accomplishments. Sharing the news on social media, he expressed, “I’ve done a lot of great things in my life… This is the greatest.” Eubank Jr refrained from divulging additional information about the newborns or their mother’s identity.
The boxer had disclosed his impending fatherhood shortly before his second match against Conor Benn last November. In a social media post, he confirmed, “So yes many of you guessed it. I will soon be joining the dad gang.” Eubank Jr further revealed the unique circumstance of expecting twin boys, expressing gratitude for the blessing and pledging to provide them with a joyful upbringing similar to his own upbringing.
Despite a strained relationship with his father in the past, Eubank Jr mended fences with him a year ago before facing Benn. He informed his father of the upcoming grandparenthood in a BBC documentary, emphasizing the significance of their renewed bond. Reflecting on the impact of his father’s absence, Eubank Jr acknowledged the importance of family relationships and the need for privacy to shield loved ones from external interference.
Choosing to shield his personal life from public scrutiny, Eubank Jr explained, “What people don’t know and what people don’t see, they cannot target, they cannot ruin, they cannot try to interfere with.” Drawing from his parents’ highly publicized breakup, he recognized the destructive influence of social media on relationships and resolved to maintain privacy in his own family life.
