“Coach Crash in Spain Leaves Multiple Injuries”

Multiple individuals have sustained severe injuries following a collision involving a coach that struck a building and a bus stop in Spain, leading to a significant emergency response. The incident took place in the province of Lleida, Catalonia, around 7:15 am local time. Reports indicate that out of the 46 people who received medical attention, four are in critical condition, nine have moderate injuries, and 33 have minor wounds.

The coach was en route from Lleida to La Granja d’Escarp when it crashed on Rambla Ferran, a renowned street in the city known for its historical significance and pedestrian-friendly environment lined with shops, residential buildings, and 19th-century architecture. Emergency services, including police, paramedics, and fire crews, are currently at the scene assisting the passengers. Images captured at the site show the coach tilted forward with substantial damage to its front, surrounded by firefighters and police personnel.

President of the Parliament of Catalonia, Josep Rull, expressed gratitude towards the emergency responders and extended well wishes for the swift recovery of the injured individuals. Rull conveyed parliamentary support and concern for those affected by the bus accident on Rambla Ferran in Lleida.
