A tragic road accident has resulted in the loss of four lives and injuries to five individuals following a major collision that occurred in the early hours of the morning. The shocking incident took place in Deane, Bolton, involving a car and a taxi around 12:45 am, leaving two vehicles severely damaged on a quiet residential street.
The aftermath of the crash, captured in distressing images, showed a Citroen C4 Picasso with its front completely demolished and the bodywork crushed, while the right doors were torn off. The vehicle collided with a red Seat Leon, which also suffered significant damage with its bumper ripped off and right side torn apart. According to Greater Manchester Police, two 18-year-old men and a 19-year-old man lost their lives in the Seat car, while the driver of the Citroen, a man in his 50s, also tragically passed away. Five injured passengers were taken to the hospital for treatment, and the police are urging anyone with information, including eyewitnesses or those possessing dashcam/CCTV footage, to come forward to aid the ongoing investigation.
