Kirsty Gallacher has shared details of a disturbing incident where she was violently attacked in London. The assault took place as she was walking to her car after work. Gallacher, a former Sky Sports News presenter, described the attacker as a man dressed in black who suddenly kicked her as if she were a football. Despite being in a well-lit area with people around, the assailant fled after the attack, leaving Gallacher with visible bruises.
Recalling the incident on social media, the 49-year-old expressed shock and disbelief at the unprovoked assault. Fortunately, some witnesses, including a group of supportive women, came to her aid. However, Gallacher criticized a nearby security guard for not intervening during the attack, emphasizing that such behavior is unacceptable.
Gallacher, who started her broadcasting career with Sky Sports in the late 90s and later returned as a host, has also worked with ITV and Channel 4. The presenter, known for hosting various programs, received an outpouring of support from colleagues in the industry following her account of the assault.
