“Get Messy with Cadbury’s Creme Egg ‘GooTool’!”

Date:

Cadbury has introduced a novel tool called the Creme Egg ‘GooTool’ to aid enthusiasts in enjoying their favorite treat without making a mess. The renowned confectionery company designed this versatile five-in-one gadget after discovering various unconventional methods people were using to consume their Creme Eggs, such as repurposing everyday kitchen utensils.

Responding to this creativity, Cadbury launched a limited-edition device featuring delicate tweezers, a spork, grater, straw, and whisk to enhance the gooey Creme Egg experience. Research unveiled the inventive ways Brits savor their beloved treat, with the traditional ‘bite and scoop’ technique being the most popular at 47%, while others opt for tools like teaspoons (50%), segment cutting (25%), or even forks.

The study also identified different Creme Egg eating personalities among Brits, including ‘secret indulgers’ (47%) who prefer private enjoyment and ‘proud and public’ eaters (28%) who embrace their messy eating habits. When asked about trying new experiences with the ‘GooTool’, 39% expressed interest in using the grater to sprinkle chocolate over desserts, hot chocolate, or snacks like crisps.

Sarah Walker, Cadbury Creme Egg Brand Manager, commented on the fans’ innovative ways of enjoying Creme Eggs, leading to the creation of the ‘GooTool’ as a tribute to their uniqueness. She emphasized that there is no wrong way to relish a Cadbury Creme Egg, encouraging fans to enjoy it in their own quirky styles.

Cadbury is offering just one exclusive GooTool through a social media giveaway on its Instagram account @CadburyUK.
