Global Outcry: International Solidarity With Iranian Protestors

Date:

New images have captured global support for Iranian protestors as they rally against Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s harsh regime. The Supreme Leader has violently suppressed citizens, with reports suggesting around 2,500 casualties as demonstrators clash with authorities over economic grievances. Demonstrations in Iran have drawn solidarity from international allies calling for an end to the crackdown.

Impressive visuals show solidarity actions in the UK, South Korea, Israel, Germany, Turkey, and more, aiming to challenge Iran’s oppressive religious leadership. Some protests feature individuals burning images of the Ayatollah and donning Iran’s pre-revolution “Lion and Sun” flag, symbolizing Persian heritage. This flag, representing the former royalty, has been raised alongside pictures of the exiled crown prince, Reza Pahlavi, who is proposed as a potential replacement for the existing government.

In Romania, protestors displayed a portrait of Reza Pahlavi, while in Germany, demonstrators wore the colors of Iran’s previous flag. Parisians showcased signs supporting Reza Pahlavi, and in Switzerland, some protestors burned images of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Shiite Muslims in Pakistan denounced the Iranian regime, and in Chile, residents protested outside Iran’s embassy in Santiago. A large Persian flag was laid outside the White House in Washington, and protests reached Seoul, where activists gathered at the Iranian Embassy. Londoners also rallied outside the Houses of Parliament.
