“Hamas Militants Injure Hundreds in Gaza, Death Toll Climbs”

Date:

Hamas militants have reportedly brutally injured around 500 Palestinians in Gaza by kneecapping them. Human rights advocate Moumen Al-Natour disclosed harrowing details to the Mirror via a WhatsApp call, describing how the gunmen are targeting individuals perceived as opposition, resulting in fatalities and injuries to hundreds by shooting them in the legs. They have even launched a website named “Grab a Collaborator” to intimidate those suspected of collaborating with Israelis, with many of these incidents occurring within hospitals. Al-Natour estimates that the death toll has reached 150.

Al-Natour, a 31-year-old anti-Hamas activist leading a youth organization, is currently in hiding from Hamas. He condemned the violence, stating, “Hamas militants have been causing chaos in areas vacated by Israel under the Trump peace agreement.”

He further explained, “From the reports I’ve received through my youth organization, Hamas is exploiting hospitals like Shifa, the largest in Gaza City, to target terrified men and young boys, either fatally injuring them or crippling them. Victims include a pregnant woman, children as young as five and pre-teens, some of whom were attacked due to their fathers’ affiliations with Palestinian security services.”

Al-Natour continued, “They are also assaulting less-armed clans. Public executions, which they aimed to film, are not happening; instead, they are using hospitals for their sinister activities. Israel eliminated only 60% of Hamas fighters during the previous conflicts, leaving 40% capable of reactivation. Hamas is resolute in expanding their grip on Gaza.”

He recounted a close encounter with Hamas militants at his residence, narrowly escaping harm. Al-Natour expressed his distress, revealing, “I was a target myself, with Hamas storming my home, though I managed to flee. While my family is safe, the threat has disrupted my personal life, leading to the end of my engagement.”

Before the conflict erupted, Al-Natour spearheaded demonstrations against Hamas under the “I Want to Live” campaign. He emphasized, “Hamas has shown reluctance to adhere to the terms of the Trump Deal, refusing disarmament. Israeli forces must secure the Gaza region they control before advancing. This time, they can operate more effectively without concerns for civilian casualties.”

Determined to uplift his community, Al-Natour outlined his plans, stating, “I am committed to restoring education, enhancing food distribution, and establishing local governance in areas under Israeli authority.”
