Finding accommodations in London can be overwhelming, but the hub by Premier Inn London Farringdon (Old Bailey) caught my attention for its central location, vibrant surroundings, and unique setting within a historic Grade II-listed building, the former Snow Hill Police Station. With room rates starting at £75, the hotel seamlessly blends Victorian charm with modern amenities.
The hotel’s original features, such as the white-tiled stairway, high ceilings, and historic police lantern, added a touch of nostalgia to my stay. Despite its heritage ambiance, the modern reception area and communal lounge provided a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests to relax and socialize.
My standard room, though cozy, efficiently utilized its 11sqm space with clever storage solutions and a functional layout. The room’s design, featuring a London map decor and convenient amenities like electronic controls for lighting and air conditioning, offered a blend of comfort and convenience.
