A woman named Renee Good was tragically shot and killed by an ICE agent, sustaining four gunshot wounds to her chest, arm, and head. Recent disclosures indicate that she was actually hit four times in the head, contradicting earlier beliefs that she was shot three times in the head by the agent. Responding paramedics found Renee unresponsive in her vehicle, covered in blood, at 9.42 am, as per a Minneapolis Fire Department report. Despite their efforts, she could not be saved after being shot by ICE officer Jonathan Ross.
The fatal incident occurred as Renee’s car was surrounded by ICE officers, and she reportedly refused to open the car door. Attempting to drive away, she was shot multiple times by the ICE agent in Minneapolis. Paramedics on the scene described her as not breathing, with an irregular pulse, and suffering from four gunshot wounds – two in her right chest, one on the left side of her head, and another on her forearm, with blood oozing from her left ear.
Following the shooting, Renee was moved out of her vehicle onto the pavement by paramedics to separate her from the escalating law enforcement and bystander scene. Despite efforts to resuscitate her en route to the hospital in an ambulance, CPR was discontinued at 10.30 am. Shockingly, the Trump administration swiftly defended the ICE agent’s actions, with JD Vance labeling the incident as a self-inflicted tragedy.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem accused Renee of attempting to run over the officer and weaponizing her vehicle, branding her actions as domestic terrorism. However, bodycam footage released two days after the incident cast doubt on these claims. The ICE agent responsible for the shooting, identified as Jonathan Ross, resides in a Minneapolis suburb and is described by neighbors as a staunch supporter of Trump.
Neighbors revealed to NBC News that Ross prominently displayed pro-Trump flags outside his home during the US Presidential race, along with a “Don’t Tread on Me” Gadsden sign associated with the MAGA movement.
