Infant Hospitalized in Critical Condition; Two Arrested

A male infant is currently hospitalized in critical condition following a distressing incident that led to the arrest of a 25-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man. The emergency services responded to a situation in Cambridgeshire on Saturday where the baby was discovered in a life-threatening state.

Prompt medical attention was provided at the scene before the baby was swiftly transported to the hospital. The ambulance services raised an alert at 11am on January 3, prompting law enforcement to swiftly arrive at the location on St John’s Chase in March.

The individuals were apprehended by the authorities on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) and possessing Class B/C drugs. A representative from Cambridgeshire Police detailed that the ambulance service contacted them about the dire situation at St John’s Chase in March, where the baby boy was being attended to under serious, life-threatening circumstances.

The spokesperson further mentioned that the infant was admitted to the hospital and is currently in critical condition. The 25-year-old woman and the 22-year-old man, both residents of March, were taken into custody on suspicion of GBH and possession of Class B/C drugs.
