Justice Secretary David Lammy has called for Robert Jenrick to issue an apology for his criticisms of judges. Lammy expressed concerns over the safety of judges who have been facing threats due to the hostile environment fueled by Conservative Party criticisms.

Jenrick faced backlash for suggesting that immigration judges have ties to organizations promoting open borders, drawing condemnation from refugee support charities.
