Despite the recent packing away of Christmas decorations, a popular festive attraction is already releasing tickets today, March 27, for the Christmas season of 2026.
The highly anticipated tickets for LaplandUK, situated in Ascot and Cheshire, will be available for purchase starting tomorrow at 10AM, with an estimated participation of over a million individuals expected to queue up. Securing tickets for this event has been likened to the process of obtaining Glastonbury tickets, with hopeful parents needing to patiently wait in a virtual queue and swiftly complete their order within a ten-minute window upon reaching the front.
Ticket prices for the 2026 season have been disclosed, commencing at £60 for midweek slots in November, escalating to £155 per individual for peak weekends in December. Additionally, both venues will feature a ‘Superstar Day’ on November 25, specially designed for families and guests with specific access needs to offer a quieter, more relaxed, and inclusive atmosphere.
While the ticket prices may seem steep, they encompass an array of unique experiences that distinguish LaplandUK from a typical Santa’s grotto. Families are greeted with a specially crafted invitation in a gift box ahead of their visit to heighten the anticipation. Furthermore, a personalized message from Father Christmas extends a warm invitation to young ones to partake in the festivities at LaplandUK and assist the elves in toy-making.
Upon arrival, visitors are transported into a whimsical realm, traversing through various interactive encounters ranging from the Elven Bazaar, where guests must solve a puzzle to enter Lapland, to the Lapland Bakery where children can engage in crafting Christmas treats before relishing storytime with Mother Christmas.
The LaplandUK experience, as per the LaplandUK website, spans approximately four and a half hours and includes activities such as ice skating, a soft toy for each child, a small gift for Christmas Day, and, undoubtedly, a special rendezvous with the iconic figure dressed in red amidst a snowy forest.
The founders of LaplandUK, Mike and Alison Battle, shared updates via Facebook regarding the enhancements for the 2026 edition. Alison expressed, “Each year, we strive to elevate the experience, infuse more magic, and enhance the believability. This year, we have some truly exciting surprises in store for you.”
The couple announced that invitations would be dispatched earlier this year, towards the end of summer, to amplify the anticipation for the event. They also mentioned that the returning experience would be enhanced to ensure that the post-visit experience is equally enchanting. Additionally, visitors to Little Rudy’s Stables will now have the opportunity to create reindeer food to take home.
A notable transformation will be seen in the Elven Village, which the founders noted has expanded over time to offer a more immersive experience with an increased number of characters. Guests will have extended time in the village to enjoy stories at Fable’s Library, skate on the ice rink, and interact with various characters along the way.
