A man underwent a significant weight loss journey, shedding half his body weight through dedication and effort. Harry Cox, a 27-year-old letting agent, used to drive short distances he could easily walk. But after losing 14 stone, he conquered the 3,560ft Snowdon peak and was honored as Slimming World’s Man of the Year 2026.
Previously weighing 25st 6.5lbs, Harry avoided meetings due to exhaustion from simple walks. Now at 11st 1lb, he has embraced an active outdoor lifestyle. Reflecting on his journey, Harry expressed gratitude for his physical and mental transformation, stating that he surpassed his own expectations.
Before his weight loss journey, Harry’s diet consisted of unhealthy choices like fried breakfasts and fast food. Transitioning to a healthier lifestyle with Slimming World, he now enjoys nutritious meals like overnight oats, salads, and lean wraps. He also increased his physical activity by taking long walks by the seafront.
Harry embarked on this journey with his mother, Sarah, in Holland-on-Sea, Essex, where they reside. Adopting a sustainable approach to weight loss, Harry maintained his love for food by making healthier versions of his favorite dishes. He emphasized the importance of support from his Slimming World group in staying motivated.
