A man has been identified as the victim of a fatal multiple-vehicle collision. Michael Margetson, known affectionately as Mickey, tragically lost his life in a three-car crash at Elk Mill retail park in Chadderton. The incident, involving a Mercedes, Toyota Prius, and Ford, occurred around 5.22 pm according to reports from Manchester Evening News.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed the man in his 50s, identified as Mr. Margetson by his wife Diane, passed away at the scene. Mrs. Margetson shared a heartfelt tribute on Facebook, expressing her profound loss and describing her late husband as the cornerstone of their family.
