A local community was deeply shocked when a man in his sixties suddenly collapsed and passed away outside a Spar store. The incident took place on Runshaw Lane in Euxton, Lancashire, at approximately 7:30 pm. Emergency services responded swiftly to the scene after the man suffered a cardiac arrest outside a row of busy shops. Despite the efforts of police and paramedics to save him, the man could not be revived and was later pronounced dead. To secure the area, officers cordoned off the shop from the public.
Residents in the vicinity were taken aback by the large presence of emergency services and gathered nearby during the unfolding of the tragic event. Witnesses reported police cordoning off the area with tape, preventing access to Spar. The store itself was subsequently closed following the incident.
The deceased individual has been identified as Paul Cadman within the local community, leading to an outpouring of grief online.
