“Man with Skeletons in Car Mistaken for Transporting Corpses”

Date:

Police swiftly surrounded a vehicle in Dudley after receiving reports of apparent corpses in the back seat. Luke Orchard, 38, was driving on Castle Gate Island with skeletons visible in his car, sparking concern from a fellow driver.

The skeletons were revealed to be props used by the lecturer at Dudley College and during performances with his band, Tumanduumband. Orchard shared on Facebook that he was stopped by multiple police cars and officers due to a report of transporting dead bodies.

Initially, Orchard was unaware that the police presence was related to him as he was focused on loud music playing in his car. Eventually realizing he was the target, he recounted the experience of being surrounded by law enforcement.

Despite being accustomed to carrying the skeletons in his car, Orchard admitted to being shaken by the incident. He now plans to conceal the models during future travels, jokingly remarking on their potential deterrent against theft.
