A MasterChef champion has been discovered deceased at the age of 37, following an unexpected passing. Concern arose when Eren Kaşıkçı, a renowned TV chef, could not be contacted by his relatives. Tragically, he was found lifeless at his residence shortly thereafter.

Eren, also known as Kızıl Sakal or Red Beard, gained fame after winning the 2021 season of MasterChef Türkiye and participating in the show’s All Star edition. Following his victory, he launched his own restaurant, Kızıl Sakal Sandwich & Burger, in Istanbul and was in the process of expanding to a new branch.
With a significant following of 740,000 on Instagram, Eren had a background in tourism and professional culinary training. He had previously worked in Istanbul hotels before securing a head chef position at a hotel on the Aegean island of Gökçeada.
