England and Wales are likely to receive normal or above-average rainfall, with potential heavy rain and local flood risks, especially in the south-western regions. Additionally, wintry showers are probable in northern regions, potentially reaching lower altitudes in Scotland, although the north-west of Scotland is projected to be drier than usual.
