“Missile Interceptions Spark Fires in Abu Dhabi”

Two significant fires have emerged in Abu Dhabi following the interception of missiles by air defense systems. The Abu Dhabi Media Office has verified that two fires near the Khalifa Economic Zone in Abu Dhabi on March 28 were triggered by debris falling from the sky. The official spokesperson for the Abu Dhabi Media Office stated that the fires resulted from debris falling after the successful interception of a ballistic missile by air defenses near the Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi. The public is advised to rely on official sources for information and to refrain from spreading unverified details. The Khalifa Economic Zones are positioned between Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. As reported by Gulf News, five individuals of Indian nationality sustained minor to moderate injuries in the incidents. Earlier, two individuals lost their lives when debris from an intercepted ballistic missile landed on a street in Abu Dhabi, causing damage to vehicles and injuring three others. The occurrence took place on Sweihan street, a major roadway connecting key city areas, early in the morning, as fragments from the missile brought down by air defense systems fell, damaging multiple vehicles.
