“Missing Hiker Found Deceased in Scottish Highlands”

A man who had gone missing during a hiking trip in the Scottish Highlands has been found deceased. The body was recovered in the An Stac area of the Ben Lawers mountain range at approximately 1:25 pm on Sunday. The individual, identified as Adam Chalmers, 36 years old, was reported missing by his family.

Adam’s family expressed gratitude towards the authorities, including Police Scotland, Tayside Mountain Rescue, and RAF Mountain Rescue, for their efforts in the search operation. Mr. Chalmers was last in contact at 12:40 pm on Saturday, mentioning his plans to complete his hike in the mountains.

Authorities confirmed that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident, and a detailed report will be submitted for legal review. The police had previously issued an appeal for information regarding Adam’s appearance and last-known whereabouts to aid in the search efforts.

Meanwhile, a separate search is ongoing for another missing individual, Timothy Rosser, a 60-year-old hillwalker from the United States. Timothy was last seen leaving his hotel in Edinburgh in a black MG hire car and is believed to have been hillwalking in Glencoe. Authorities are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward promptly to assist in locating Timothy.
