Subsequent investigations revealed the incident occurred as a dog attack on Albert Street in the Newtown area of Manchester. The victim, a man in his 30s, was hospitalized with serious injuries, but his condition has since stabilized.
Four individuals, comprising three men and one woman, were arrested in connection with the incident for suspected ownership of a dangerous and uncontrollable dog. Following their release on bail, the dog involved was euthanized. A police spokesperson clarified that the initial report of a stabbing was, in fact, a dog attack causing significant harm to the victim.
