A mother feared for her life when she was attacked by her friend’s pitbull terriers, narrowly escaping a fatal injury to her jugular vein during the harrowing incident.
Crystal Ray, 42, recounted the terrifying ordeal that unfolded at her friend’s residence. While seated on the floor with her Corgi named Jasper, the tranquil atmosphere suddenly turned chaotic as her friend’s dogs unexpectedly targeted her pet. In a frantic attempt to rescue her one-year-old companion, Crystal intervened, only to face a vicious assault from the aggressive pitbulls.
The truck driver, Crystal, expressed her gratitude for surviving the violent attack, where one of the dogs sank its teeth into her, causing severe lacerations akin to a sharp knife. Subsequently, the other pitbull also bit her head while she was trying to shield her beloved Jasper. Rushed to the hospital, Crystal underwent a blood transfusion and remained hospitalized for several days.

Despite the excruciating pain and fear of impending death, her primary concern remained the safety of Jasper, whom she regarded as her own child.
Despite Jasper managing to break free, the nightmare continued as the pitbulls persisted in attacking. Crystal vividly remembered the dread of the thought of her friend discovering her and Jasper lifeless on the floor, mauled by the dogs. Fortunately, medical intervention saved her life, although she required stitches and a blood transfusion due to the severity of her injuries.
