Police in Scotland have initiated a homicide investigation following the discovery of a deceased man with severe injuries at a residence on Glenhove Road in Cumbernauld. The authorities responded to the incident around 9:20 a.m. on Wednesday.
The victim, identified as John McMonigle, aged 45, was found to have sustained significant injuries. Subsequent to a post-mortem examination, Police Scotland has officially declared the case as a murder.
