A recently surfaced interview with Jeffrey Epstein has sparked widespread interest due to its disturbing revelations about his self-image, criminal behavior, and political ties. The conversation, conducted by former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, captures Epstein openly acknowledging his illegal actions while attempting to rationalize them based on his own beliefs.
The two-hour recording, filmed at Epstein’s Manhattan home, documents a media coaching session aimed at improving Epstein’s public perception following his 2008 conviction. In one unsettling moment, Bannon presented Epstein with a scenario involving aid distribution to impoverished and sick individuals, questioning how people would react if they knew the money came from a sexual predator like Epstein.
Epstein admitted to being a “Tier 1” offender but insisted he was the lowest tier. Bannon challenged him on his criminal status and questioned whether people would still accept funds from him. Epstein responded that most would prioritize the money for their children, regardless of its source.
The interview took place in 2019 while Epstein awaited trial for federal sex trafficking charges, having previously been convicted for soliciting a minor and facing additional trafficking allegations. The Department of Justice released this interview as part of a vast collection of evidence related to the case.
Shortly after the interview, Epstein tragically took his own life in his New York prison cell on August 10, 2019, at the age of 66.
