In a horrifying incident, a nude adult film performer was captured on video singing and dancing after brutally killing an elderly man with a hammer and slashing the throat of his partner during a sexual encounter. Yostin Andres Mosquera, 35, was filmed dancing and singing in a room, seemingly referencing “bad meat” in his Spanish lyrics. The jury at Woolwich Crown Court watched the disturbing footage where Mosquera taunted his 62-year-old victim, Albert Alfonso, as he lay wounded on the floor.
According to court testimony, Mosquera initiated a sexual encounter with Mr. Alfonso before using a knife to fatally wound him. The heinous act was recorded by cameras set up by Mr. Alfonso for their sessions together.
The judge noted that Mr. Alfonso resisted the attack but was caught off guard. The judge condemned Mosquera’s callous behavior, stating, “You (Mosquera) then celebrated your actions and immediately attempted to access his financial accounts.”
Earlier on the same day, Paul Longworth, aged 71 and Mr. Alfonso’s partner, was viciously beaten to death by Mosquera with a hammer in an attempt to rob them. Mosquera proceeded to dismember the victims after the July 8 murders in Sheperd’s Bush, West London, placing their heads in a freezer and transporting the rest of their bodies in a suitcase to Bristol two days later.
Mosquera’s plan was to dispose of the suitcases off the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol. The Colombian national was apprehended at Bristol Temple Meads railway station.
He was sentenced to 40 years and 264 days in prison and had also pleaded guilty to child sex offenses before sentencing. The court revealed that Mr. Alfonso had financially supported Mosquera, funding his gym membership, English lessons, and trips to Brighton.
In the period leading up to the tragic events, Mosquera accompanied Mr. Alfonso and Mr. Longworth to Brighton, where they engaged in sexual activities with another man. The court learned that Mr. Alfonso met Mosquera through online interactions and first met him in London in October 2023.
Addressing Mosquera’s despicable crimes involving children, the judge condemned his actions, highlighting the severe nature of the abuse inflicted on young children. The court noted Mosquera’s active participation in a network that facilitated child abuse through the distribution of disturbing images.
A psychiatric evaluation concluded that there were no mental health conditions that could mitigate Mosquera’s crimes.
