“Prince Andrew Facilitated Meeting for Epstein: Emails Reveal”

Date:

Prince Andrew allegedly offered to assist convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in arranging a meeting with the daughter of the Australian prime minister. Emails exchanged between Epstein and Andrew revealed that Epstein requested Andrew to invite Katherine Keating for a dinner with Woody Allen in New York, to which Andrew agreed. This correspondence, now part of the Epstein Files under review by the US Congress, included follow-up messages exchanged on Andrew’s birthday.

In response to Epstein’s inquiry about his birthday plans, Andrew mentioned having a quiet day but attending a dinner party in the evening, specifically mentioning the “Keating case.” Katherine Keating, now 44, has acknowledged that Andrew facilitated her attendance at a dinner event in 2011.

Keating clarified that she was present at a social gathering in February at Andrew’s invitation, which was a notable event with prominent figures like Barbara Walters, Charlie Rose, and Katie Couric in attendance. She emphasized that she was new to New York at the time and welcomed social invitations.

It is essential to note that there is no indication that Keating had any involvement or knowledge of any illicit activities by Epstein or his associates. Despite Andrew’s claim of cutting ties with Epstein during a public interview, recent revelations showed continued communication between them, with Andrew suggesting they would “play some more soon” in an email from 2011.

The origins of Andrew’s acquaintance with Keating remain unclear, with suggestions that she may have known Ghislaine Maxwell, a mutual friend of Andrew and Epstein currently serving a prison sentence for sex trafficking.
