Prince George has turned thirteen, marking his official entry into his teenage years. To celebrate this milestone, a never-before-seen photo of him has been unveiled by his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The image captures the young prince smiling in a suit and open-neck shirt at Kensington Palace after participating in Trooping the Colour, the King’s birthday parade.
Photographed by Matt Porteous, a preferred photographer of Prince William and Kate, the picture was shared on social media with a birthday message: “Happy 13th Birthday, George!” accompanied by a party popper emoji. George, who made his first public appearance shortly after birth, weighed 8lbs 6oz and was christened George Alexander Louis at St James’ Palace.
As George enters his teenage years, he stands as tall as his mother and is gearing up to start at Eton College in September, following his father’s footsteps. Despite his royal obligations, the young prince, along with his siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, enjoys a normal childhood alongside preparations for his future role.
