Russia Threatens Extreme Measures Over Ukraine’s Missile Strikes

Date:

Russia has issued a stern warning following Ukraine’s alleged use of Storm Shadow missiles, suspected to be supplied by Britain, on a significant military airfield. Reports indicate that these missiles also targeted Sevastopol, the headquarters of Putin’s Black Sea Fleet in Crimea.

Vyacheslav Volodin, a member of the Kremlin’s security council and the speaker of the Russian parliament, has threatened to deploy extreme measures if Elon Musk does not prevent Kyiv’s forces from utilizing his Starlink satellite internet service. Referring to an incident in Starobilsk where a dormitory was struck, resulting in the tragic deaths of 21 children, Volodin condemned the attack as a heinous crime against humanity with no expiration date.

Despite Russia’s own disclosures showing that none of the victims were underage, Volodin accused the Kyiv regime of targeting defenseless children and urged Musk to grasp the consequences of his satellite technology being used for destructive purposes. The threat of using devastating weapons was emphasized, with a plea to prevent such a catastrophic escalation of conflict.

In Starobilsk, among the casualties was Irina Zhivotikova, a 19-year-old student and beauty pageant winner, according to pro-Moscow sources. While Ukraine claimed to have targeted the Russian Rubikon military special unit in the area, conflicting reports continue to emerge.

Simultaneously, smoke was observed rising from the ‘Baltimore’ military airfield in the Voronezh region, housing Russia’s Su-34 fighter-bombers, often utilized in strikes against Ukraine. Storm Shadow missiles, known for their long range and high speed, were reportedly used in the attacks, hitting both military and civilian structures.

In another incident, a fire broke out near an oil refinery at the sea terminal in Tuapse, following a series of strikes by Ukrainian forces on the Black Sea region. These developments underscore the escalating tensions and ongoing conflict between the two nations.
