Tributes to Henry Nowak from his sister Olivia have resurfaced online, showcasing the duo’s carefree moments of singing and dancing together.
Olivia, aged 22, expressed that her brother Henry will forever remain 18 in her heart in a poignant message shared online. She added, “I will always miss and love you.”
The initial video tribute was posted 10 days following Henry’s tragic stabbing death in December 2025, featuring them dancing to Coldplay’s hit song “Yellow.”
A 53-second clip captured Henry’s joyful demeanor and optimism towards the future. The video depicted him smiling and dancing with Olivia in their family residence in Chafford Hundred, Essex.
Olivia continued to share more heartfelt videos honoring Henry, including one showing them holding hands and another of Henry embracing her during a family vacation.
Expressing her deep sorrow, Olivia stated, “I’ve never experienced pain like this. Forever my closest companion. Soar high, my angelic brother.” The emotional videos underscored the strong bond between the siblings.
During Vickrum Digwa’s trial for the murder in December 2025, Olivia confronted him in court, asserting, “If you had known Henry, you would never have harmed him.” She emphasized the profound loss she felt at just 21 years old, saying, “My brother held my entire heart. He was a part of me, and I lost a piece of myself when he passed away.”
Henry’s family called for a reevaluation of policing practices, urging a return to common sense. A coroner announced that the upcoming inquest into Henry’s death would scrutinize the police’s actions on the night of the incident.
Hampshire’s area coroner, Jason Pegg, disclosed that the inquest at Winchester Crown Court would specifically review the police response on the night Henry was killed. Recent police bodycam footage revealed an officer dismissing Henry’s claim of being stabbed, saying, “I don’t believe you have been, mate.”
Digwa, who falsely alleged a racist attack to the police, fatally stabbed Henry. Hampshire Police’s handling of the situation faced criticism, prompting an inquiry by the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
Henry, one of four siblings, relocated to Southampton for university studies. Digwa received a life sentence with a minimum term of 21 years.
