A popular social media influencer passed away shortly after her recent wedding celebration. Adna Rovčanin-Omerbegović, aged 26, unexpectedly became unwell during the reception on September 13 and was swiftly taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, she slipped into a coma and passed away on September 15.
Apart from her online content creation work, Adna also owned a beauty salon in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia. Her sudden demise has deeply saddened her followers, with one expressing, “Yesterday you were with us, today we bid you farewell. Rest in peace, dear Adna.”
Many have mourned the untimely loss of young lives like Adna’s, with another individual stating, “It is unjust for young people to meet such premature ends.” Tributes have poured in, with one person saying, “You will forever be in our hearts.”
Adna is survived by her husband, four sisters, and her parents. The exact cause of her death remains unknown as of now, with an autopsy being conducted to determine the reason behind her sudden illness.
Adna and her spouse exchanged vows at the Hollywood Hotel in Sarajevo. Her funeral took place on September 17, with prayers held at the Mosque of Kobilja Glava. Hundreds gathered to pay their respects at the wake, as reported by local media outlet Crnu-Hronik.
A friend fondly remembered Adna’s compassionate nature, highlighting her dedication as a nurse at the Old City Health Center and her passion for makeup as a side interest that brought her joy.
While Adna’s social media accounts were deactivated following her passing, her wedding photographer paid tribute to her on Instagram Stories, describing her smile as the most captivating in Bosnia. The photographer had previously shared heartwarming images of Adna and her husband, Faris, in anticipation of their special day.
