A 15-year-old girl named Chanelle Alvarez from Utah was tragically shot in the head at close range by her 16-year-old boyfriend, identified as Hezekiah Plummer. Described as having a spirited personality with a charming smile and infectious laughter, Chanelle’s family emphasized that her death was a result of domestic violence, a tragedy they hope will raise awareness and protection for others. She was an active member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Ogden, where she was known for her vibrant presence and compassionate nature, attending summer camps regularly.
The church’s pastor, Jeff Stephenson, fondly remembered Chanelle as a remarkable and vibrant young woman full of life and kindness. He highlighted her caring attitude and insatiable curiosity towards life.
