A representative from Devon and Cornwall Police mentioned, “We received a call at approximately 4.25pm on Thursday, January 8, regarding a welfare concern for a male in a wooded area in Bude. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, a 15-year-old local boy was pronounced dead at the location. His relatives have been notified, and the incident is not deemed suspicious. A report will be compiled for HM Coroner.”
