“Terror Plotter Lewin Alleges Police Entrapment in Appeal”

Date:

Oliver Lewin, a fervent supporter of terrorism who had sworn to overthrow the government, is seeking to appeal his conviction, alleging he fell victim to “police entrapment.” Lewin, aged 41, was sentenced to six years in prison for a plot to bomb communication infrastructure including phone, TV, and radio masts throughout the UK. In 2023, the conspiracy theorist, fixated on the belief that the nation was under the control of “Jewish elites” answering to Israel, was incarcerated.

His convictions were rooted in the belief that the then Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s administration was orchestrating a genocide through Covid vaccinations. Recently disclosed Parole Board documents indicate that Lewin has formally challenged his conviction with the Criminal Cases Review Commission. Reports suggest he contests his guilt, claiming entrapment by law enforcement.

Despite a public and closed hearing conducted by the Parole Board last month, a decision was made to deny Lewin parole due to the significant risk he poses to public safety if released. A prison psychologist expressed concerns regarding the extent of his risk to society.

Lewin’s extremist views included the notion that white Europeans were systematically being exterminated by vaccines, leading to the establishment of a Chinese-style communist regime in the UK. His conviction in Birmingham Crown Court was for engaging in activities preparing for terrorist actions.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Lewin actively spread conspiracy theories online and exhibited anti-Semitic sentiments. He had attempted to enlist undercover police officers to target a critical transmitter in Sutton Coldfield, serving millions of households.

Arrested on August 25, 2021, after authorities determined his plans were progressing rapidly, Lewin had conducted surveillance on communication masts and shared plans indicating where he intended to sabotage cables. He had begun drafting a manual for potential accomplices and had recruited a minor to assist him.

Following his arrest, law enforcement discovered military-style equipment at his residence, including weapons and tactical gear. The Parole Board emphasized that Lewin’s online activities posed the greatest risk, leading to a proposed risk management plan involving restrictions on internet access and mobile usage, along with GPS monitoring.

At the parole hearing, Lewin, still disputing his conviction and pursuing an appeal, expressed newfound respect for Jewish individuals. The sentencing judge highlighted Lewin’s belief that the Covid vaccine was a tool for mass murder, implicating the UK government in a conspiracy originating from Israel.
