Customers can redeem these vouchers at both large Tesco stores and Tesco Express locations, excluding online purchases.
As part of its new Freebie Thursdays initiative, Tesco offers varying coupons each Thursday, although not all customers receive one every week. Selection for the freebies is based on individual shopping history, with previous giveaways including Walkers crisps and Tesco cookies.
In related news, Tesco has introduced a Clubcard version for 16 and 17-year-olds, expanding access to approximately 1.6 million younger customers for Clubcard Prices deals. Normally exclusive to those over 18, the new digital Clubcard for 16-17-year-olds is available only via the Tesco app or website. To enroll, teenagers must receive an invitation from a parent or guardian’s Clubcard account.
With Tesco Clubcard, shoppers earn points for every pound spent in stores or on fuel at Tesco forecourts. Additionally, points can be accumulated through Tesco Bank and Tesco Mobile transactions. Redeeming 150 points earns a £1.50 Clubcard voucher, which can be used at Tesco. Enhance the value of vouchers by doubling or tripling them with Rewards Partners like Pizza Express, Alton Towers, or Hotels.com.
