In the political realm, figures like Nigel Farage have also perpetuated conspiracy theories, further deepening societal divisions. Similarly, in Russia, President Putin’s regime thrives on dismissing accusations of wrongdoing as Western propaganda, showcasing how conspiracy theories can be used to manipulate public perception.
