Three Grand National Horses Injured; Masters Golf Coverage Set

Date:

Three horses, Mr Vango, Top Of The Bill, and Quai De Bourbon, sustained injuries during the Grand National race at Aintree near Liverpool. Mr Vango, who fell at the sixth fence, suffered an avulsion fracture in the neck and is currently under observation at Leahurst Equine Hospital. Trainer Sara Bradstock expressed optimism about Mr Vango’s recovery, mentioning that despite the fracture, the horse is expected to make a full recovery. The horse will undergo further evaluation before being discharged.

The incident also involved Top Of The Bill, ridden by jockey Toby McCain-Mitchell, who was suspended for not pulling up the horse promptly. Nevertheless, the horse was reported to be in good condition with a normal heart rate. Another horse, Quai De Bourbon, was assessed after a fall at the second fence and was set to return home after the race.

Looking ahead, coverage of The Masters starting on April 6 will be available for golf enthusiasts through Sky’s Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundle, offering live viewing options along with various additional channels and streaming services.
