“Three Tourists Shot Dead in Florida Vacation Tragedy”

Date:

Three tourists were fatally shot near their vacation rental in Florida in what authorities suspect was a random attack. The victims were identified as two brothers, Robert Kraft, 70, from Michigan, and Douglas Joseph Kraft, 68, from Ohio, as well as their friend James John Puchan, a 68-year-old also from Ohio. The trio had encountered car trouble near Disney World in Kissimmee, Florida, leading to their tragic deaths.

Law enforcement responded to reports of a shooting at Indian Point Circle around 12:14 pm on Saturday and discovered the three men deceased with gunshot wounds in a yard. Following the incident, Ahmad Jihad Bojeh, 29, was apprehended at his residence approximately an hour later. The sheriff described the killings as cold-blooded and premeditated, emphasizing that the victims had no prior conflicts with the suspect.

Authorities assured the community that there was no ongoing threat as the alleged perpetrator had been taken into custody promptly. Guns were recovered from Bojeh’s home, and forensic examinations are underway to determine if they were used in the crime. The victims had reportedly extended their stay at the rental property due to car troubles, with one individual having departed the day before the incident.

Details about the tourists’ activities in the area and the duration of their stay remain unclear. The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the arrest of Bojeh and stated that he faces three counts of murder in connection with the tragic event.
