A mother of three, known for her loving nature, has passed away following a Brazilian butt lift surgery. Alicia Stone, aged 40, was urgently taken to Fundación Valle del Lili Hospital in Colombia after being discovered unresponsive in her hotel room around 6:30am local time on Thursday. Sadly, the New York Police Department detective was declared dead one hour later.
Sources have indicated that Stone’s cause of death was unspecified cardiac arrest. She had recently undergone liposuction and gluteal fat transfer procedures on October 16, merely a week before her tragic demise. Stone was on pain medication and anticoagulants post-surgery and had been recuperating at a hotel. Her husband, Michael Stone, intends to request an autopsy and seek an investigation into Alicia’s death.
Expressing his shock and grief, Michael revealed that he was notified of his wife’s passing by the doctor in Colombia, who provided minimal information. He emphasized the need for clarity and facts regarding the circumstances leading to Alicia’s death. He mentioned that Alicia appeared to be in good health before the surgery and had reassured her family about feeling well the day prior to her passing.
A fundraiser for Stone’s family highlighted Alicia as a dedicated mother of three and a committed public servant who dedicated her career to protecting and assisting others. Described as kind, courageous, and compassionate, Alicia’s sudden death has deeply affected her family, friends, and colleagues.
Brazilian butt lifts are a popular cosmetic procedure in the US, with tens of thousands opting for it annually. The process involves removing excess fat and injecting purified fat into incisions around the buttocks. However, there are inherent risks associated with the procedure, including potential complications.
