A young man became unwell and passed away on a street in the heart of Manchester shortly after leaving a nightclub. The man, believed to be in his twenties, experienced a medical emergency and lost consciousness during the early hours of Saturday.
Emergency services were alerted around 5:45 am, but despite their attempts to resuscitate him, the man was declared deceased at the scene. Authorities have stated that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
According to reports from Manchester Evening News, staff from a nearby nightclub assisted the man in exiting the premises before closing time as he was feeling unwell. They later checked on him just before his unfortunate passing.
A spokesperson from Greater Manchester Police mentioned, “Officers received a report of concern for welfare on Portland Street at approximately 5:45 am yesterday. Upon arrival, they discovered an unconscious man in his twenties, and despite the efforts of emergency services, he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. There are no indications of foul play in connection with his death.”
