A tragic incident occurred in Cyprus as a three-year-old boy passed away after falling from a fourth-floor hotel window. The young British boy was playing with his father when the accident happened. Following the fall, the boy’s father, a 37-year-old man, was taken into police custody.
The family had just arrived for a summer holiday and checked into the hotel the day before the incident. Emergency services responded swiftly, transporting the child to Paphos General Hospital, but despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries. The family, devastated by the loss, also has a five-year-old daughter with them on the trip.
The father appeared in court the next morning, where authorities sought an eight-day remand for further investigation. Cypriot police have initiated a probe into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy. A post-mortem examination was scheduled, and the area where the accident occurred remains under police investigation.
