“Truck Plows Through Anti-Iran Protesters in LA”

Date:

Several individuals sustained injuries when a truck crashed into a gathering of anti-Iran demonstrators in Los Angeles, sparking chaos and fear among the crowd. The incident involved a U-Haul truck driving through a group of protesters, causing people to scatter as the vehicle advanced. Witnesses reported that the driver appeared to be intentionally heading towards the protesters holding Iranian flags in an effort to push through the assembly.

The truck displayed a large banner with the message: “No Shah, No Regime. USA: Don’t Repeat 1953. No Mullah.” The event took place during daylight on Veteran Avenue in the Westwood district, where a large number of individuals had gathered to protest against Iran’s Islamic Republic.

Eyewitness Susie Shoshana recorded the incident on her mobile device, capturing the truck ramming through the protest. Following the collision, demonstrators surrounded the truck, with some individuals breaking the vehicle’s windows as tensions escalated.

Subsequent footage depicted law enforcement officers pulling the driver from the truck, amid screaming from onlookers. As the suspect was being taken into custody, some protesters attempted to physically confront him, prompting police intervention to restore order and disperse the crowd.

The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed that three people were injured as a result of the truck collision with the protesters.
