“Trump Considers Military Action Against Iran, Deploys Fighter Jets”

Date:

Numerous additional fighter jets have been dispatched to the Middle East amid deliberations by President Donald Trump on whether to initiate a large-scale military operation against Iran.

Insiders have informed the Mirror that the President is contemplating authorizing a full-on assault on Tehran with unrestricted strikes or potentially considering a mediated ten-day ceasefire. Sources suggest President Trump is leaning towards escalating military actions and growing impatient with the Iranians, believing that the US can compel them to negotiate.

Additional squadrons of F-35A fighters and F-15 aircraft have been relocated from their US base at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk to prepare for potential military action. Moreover, two squadrons of F-16s, one from Aviano Air base in Italy and another from Spangdahlem US base in Germany, have been positioned for action. Recent reports indicate that the US has conducted a ninth consecutive night of airstrikes on Iran, targeting air defense systems supplied by China and causing explosions across the nation. A source from the UK stated, “President Trump appears to have rejected a proposal for a ten-day ceasefire with Iran from Pakistan and Qatar, but the situation remains fluid.”

According to sources cited by the Mirror, Israel is expected to participate in a full-scale attack on Iran, potentially involving a temporary ground operation on Iran’s Kharg Island to safeguard the Strait of Hormuz. A security source disclosed to the Daily Mirror that a limited ground incursion onto Kharg Island is a probable scenario, with Iran reportedly preparing for such an eventuality. Additionally, it has been revealed that Trump is likely to justify any escalation as necessary to eliminate Iran’s undisclosed nuclear assets.

Another UK-based source informed the Mirror, “Israeli intelligence reports, reviewed by the US, indicate that Iran moved numerous uranium enrichment centrifuges into tunnels beneath ‘Pickaxe Mountain’ last year following initial hostilities. This underground facility was constructed in 2020 as a secure location to store nuclear materials in case of a full-scale war, making it challenging for munitions to penetrate and destroy it.” President Trump has publicly mentioned Pickaxe Mountain as a potential target, highlighting concerns about the contents stored within the facility. US military officials are wary of the sustainability of a prolonged conflict in Iran due to significant depletion of missile and defense supplies. Some of the newly deployed warplanes still bear insignia from prior operations on Iran a few months ago.

US military installations in northern and central Iraq are fortifying their air defense systems as the pro-Iranian Islamic resistance of Iraq threatens retaliatory attacks in response to escalated US airstrikes. It is reported that several hundred UK troops are stationed in northern Iraq, with the RAF Regiment deploying troops armed with the Rapid Sentry air defense system. Following the outbreak of hostilities earlier this year, UK forces were reportedly intercepting nearly 30 missiles and drones daily in northern Iraq.
