European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen criticized Trump’s tariff plans, labeling them as detrimental to longstanding alliances. In defiance, Trump unveiled plans to impose import taxes on goods from eight European nations supporting Denmark amidst his calls for US control over Greenland.
