“UK Set for Warm Weather with Temperatures Reaching 24C”

The Met Office has forecasted a rise in temperatures up to 24C this week, bringing warm conditions to people nationwide. In southern regions, temperatures could peak at 23C on Thursday and 24C on Friday, while northern areas may see highs of 20C on Thursday and 23C on Friday.

According to the national weather agency, Wednesday and Thursday will be mainly dry with warm sunny spells, albeit breezy in the south. Showers are expected to move in from the west on Friday. Temperature anomaly maps indicate significant heat anomalies across the UK on Friday, with temperatures well above average.

The GFS weather model predicts Friday highs of 22C, with the warmest weather centered in the south-east, particularly around London. Approximately 25 counties are likely to experience temperatures of 20C or higher.

BBC forecasters also anticipate sunshine throughout the week, with some showers expected on Friday. The forecast suggests varying conditions across different regions, from showery rain in the southeast to a sunnier day in the northwest. Wednesday is expected to be mainly dry with sunny spells, while Thursday will remain dry and sunny for most areas. Friday may bring unsettled weather with a mix of sunshine, cloud cover, and showers.
